I’m Bina Nayak, a Goan, born and brought up in Bombay. I am now based in
Parra, Goa- I have returned to my roots so to speak. An alumnus of Sir
JJ School of Art, I spent 12 years in the high-pressure world of Advertising.
Seeking solace in sculpting, dreaming of the day when I would be able to
subsist on it. Inspite of working fulltime- and crazy hours at that, I
managed to supply my craft to a host of high profile lifestyle stores
in Bombay. My work finds shelf space at Tresorie, Abracadabra, Saga,
The Centre for Arts & Crafts and Culture Shoppe. I have also conducted
workshops on papier-mâché at the NCPA, Bandra School of Art, INDO- US
association and The National Institute of Architecture & Town Planning-
Ahmedabad.
I’ve worked in various agencies, from Speer, Mudra, Leo Burnett to Ogilvy
& Mather, which was my last stop. In June 2003, I moved to Goa.

I hope you find this website more useful and comprehensive than my earlier
one which was a freebie member website hosted by ivillage.com. I was
restricted by the templates given by ivillage. I've had complete
freedom with the designing of this one. Hope it shows!
